Thank you for visiting. My name is Merry, and that is all I must tell you directly.

I launched this site after several years of daydreaming and procrastination in an attempt to force myself to do what I love routinely. I am both working and pursuing graduate education, so my writing is not always my top priority, unfortunately.

As I envision it, my writing for this blog will focus on video games — primarily role-playing games — with a side of general otaku media. I tend to hold my opinions strongly and defend them with incoherent passion. At this time, I plan to write editorial-style posts rather than straight reviews or observational commentary. The direction of this blog may change at any time.

I still think of this site as a work-in-progress — i.e. I am looking to commission avatar, banner, and icon art at some indeterminate point in the future — but as far as I am aware there should not be any critical issues in need of fixing. Please let me know if you spot any issues of attribution or function.
